Will there be any impact on customers as a result of the restructuring?
We do not foresee any impact on our relationship with you as a result of today’s announcement. We want to stress that the action taken today is intended primarily to be a financial restructuring to address balance sheet issues and legacy liabilities. It has nothing to do with Tronox’s operations, which remain strong, nor our suppliers or our valued employees, both of whom remain among the best in the business.
Will there be a delay in shipping orders or manufacturing products as a result of the restructuring?
We do not expect any delay or interruption in shipping or manufacturing as a result of the restructuring. We want customers to know that we have gone to great lengths to ensure that the restructuring will not impact our customers, no matter how big or how small. We will continue to take and fill orders, manufacture quality products, provide timely delivery and offer unparalleled service to all of our customers.
Will I continue to deal with my normal sales representative?
During our restructuring, it is business as usual at Tronox. Customers can expect the same superior service, including working with our world-class sales and sales support team. There will be no change in your daily contacts.
Will Tronox discontinue any products as result of the restructuring?
We do not expect to discontinue any products as a direct result of the Chapter 11 filing. As we have in the past, we will regularly evaluate our portfolio of products and adjust as needed to ensure we are providing a competitive line of products that fulfill our customers’ needs.
I am a current customer. Will anything about my relationship with Tronox change?
No. Our commitment to the needs of our customers remains the same, and this action will not interrupt or interfere with the services you receive from Tronox.
Why should I continue to do business with Tronox when its future is so uncertain?
We will continue to provide the quality products and services customers have come to expect from us. This action will allow us to address our debt issues while continuing normal operations. The action taken is primarily a financial restructuring to address balance sheet issues and legacy liabilities. It has nothing to do with Tronox’s operations, which remain strong, nor our suppliers or our valued employees, both of whom are among the best in the business.
