Tronox’s Northern Operations has been in operation for over 30 years and includes the Cooljarloo Mine (170km north of Perth) and Chandala Processing Plant complex (57km north of Perth). Together, the facilities have the ability to produce approximately 425,000 metric tonnes of ilmenite, 55,000 metric tonnes of zircon, 50,000 metric tonnes of rutile and 240,000 metric tonnes of synthetic rutile per year.
