Overview
Copperas is the hepta hydrate form of iron sulfate manufactured during the sulfate titanium dioxide production process. The products are chemically controlled to meet specific customer quality requirements. The main applications for copperas are sewage and industrial effluent treatment. Copperas is also used for chromate reduction in cement and soil remediation, as a fertilizer additive, and the manufacture of iron oxide pigments.
